In this position, you will deliver outstanding assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and crisis intervention to clients, which may include both adults and children. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while collaborating with a diverse team in an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment programs for clients diagnosed with acute or chronic mental illness.

  • Deliver outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques in a supportive environment.

  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records, preparing intake summaries, treatment plans, and case documentation in accordance with state regulations and NCQA standards.

  • Engage in collaborative case conferences with medical, psychiatric, and allied health professionals to continuously refine treatment plans.
  • \n
  • Provide expertise in evaluating clients for psychotropic medication needs, working alongside physicians to enhance client care.
  • \n
  • If qualified, supervise Post-Masters Fellows or associate-level clinicians to promote their professional development and ensure the delivery of quality care.

  • Offer family support by educating family members about the treatment process and providing strategies to enhance adherence and acceptance of treatment.

You will work primarily with a diverse client base that includes adults and children from various cultural backgrounds. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates should have experience in outpatient mental health settings and demonstrate proficiency in various therapeutic methodologies. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous, as is a background in crisis intervention and family-centered therapy approaches.
