About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Director (CMD) for Radiology to spearhead the strategic and operational leadership of its diagnostic imaging services. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performing radiology program, expanding integrated care delivery, and maintaining a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centered care. The CMD will be responsible for guiding a large team of radiologists, advancing clinical programs, and integrating services throughout the region. The successful candidate will be an outstanding radiologist with a proven track record as a physician leader, capable of aligning, managing, and communicating a radiology vision for the system. Candidates for the CMD position must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and be certified by the American Board of Radiology. The role requires a leader who can navigate the complexities of a multi-facility health care system, with a focus on advancing clinical integration, and improving operational performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a radiology division, program, or service line, and will be adept at developing excellent physician relationships in a geographically dispersed environment. An entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to the future of the field of radiology, including training and education, are also essential for this role.
