Veterinary Technician - Emergency

VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department. Location: 4984 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85711 Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10-hour shifts Salary: $16 - 23/hour. Salary varies based on education, experience, & current AZ CVT license: (includes scale for licensed & unlicensed Veterinary Technicians). Additional $3/hour stipend for all hours 8 pm - 7 am In addition to standard CVT skills, the Emergency Department values: Excellent Client & Patient Handling while working in a fast-paced environment Advanced tube placement including NG tubes, central lines, & PICC lines Confidence in applying BLS/ALS CPR techniques Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, & recovery of critical patients Hands-free radiology technique for critical patients At VCA Animal Hospitals, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays, and sick days, and health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.
