Sirius Staffing is seeking an Export Sales Representative II for a direct-hire opportunity in Livingston, New Jersey. This position will grow international sales for the Polyolefins division by developing new markets, customers, and strategic business partners.

The ideal candidate will combine international sales, business development, market analysis, and export-order management experience. This individual will evaluate global market conditions, develop profitable sales strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and manage international opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international sales and market-development strategies.
• Identify and develop new international markets, customers, end users, and strategic business partners.
• Generate leads through market research, industry networking, trade shows, referrals, and direct prospecting.
• Monitor global pricing, supply and demand, feedstock costs, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
• Recommend pricing, product-positioning, volume, and margin strategies.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, credit terms, sales agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Manage the sales cycle from inquiry and quotation through order confirmation, shipment, payment, and after-sales service.
• Prepare forecasts, pipeline updates, market-intelligence reports, and sales, pricing, and margin analyses.
• Coordinate with Product, Logistics, Supply Chain, Credit, and Technical Service to support order execution and customer needs.
• Understand customer applications, recommend appropriate product grades, and facilitate resolution of product-quality or service concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping requirements, trade regulations, export documentation, and REACH compliance.
• Monitor Mexico terminal and bonded-warehouse inventory, sales, forecasts, and deployment needs.
• Support non-prime inventory sales and Export Sales subsidy reporting.
• Travel internationally approximately one to two weeks per month.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Finance, or a related field.
• Four or more years of relevant international sales, business-development, or market-analysis experience.
• Experience identifying and developing international customers or strategic business partners.
• Strong market-research, competitive-analysis, pricing, and commercial-evaluation skills.
• Experience preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to analyze economic and industry information and convert findings into practical sales strategies.
• Experience preparing forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across international time zones and travel internationally approximately one to two weeks per month.
• Ability to accept employment without violating an existing non-compete or other contractual obligation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Polyolefins, polyethylene, polypropylene, polymers, plastics, chemicals, or petrochemicals.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, international shipping, and trade compliance.
• Experience with REACH compliance or European markets.
• Experience managing terminal or bonded-warehouse inventory and sales.
• Experience developing business in Mexico, Latin America, Europe, or other international markets.
• MBA or degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Foreign-language skills relevant to assigned markets.
