We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for managing loan files from approval through clear to close, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with lending guidelines.

The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, can effectively manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and communicates professionally with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of 15+ loans simultaneously
• Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Send loan conditions to borrowers within 24 hours of approval
• Prioritize tasks effectively while meeting tight deadlines
• Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and system updates
• Adapt quickly to changing lending guidelines and urgent requests
• Maintain accurate loan documentation throughout the processing cycle
• Track loan progress to ensure timely closings
• Request and follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, Title Companies, and Appraisers

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mortgage processing experience required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of mortgage guidelines and loan documentation requirements
• Experience with loan origination systems and mortgage software
• Knowledge of LendingQB and MeridianLink is a plus
