This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic and call coverage. Current need is December 28, 2026, at 7:00 AM through January 4, 2027, at 7:00 AM.
• Practice Setting: Hybrid inpatient and outpatient cardiology coverage at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Coverage includes clinic, inpatient consults, procedures, and call.
• Type of cases and required procedures: Interventional Cardiology cases including inpatient and outpatient evaluations, elective procedures, and acute cardiac care. Required procedures include:
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG), Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Echocardiogram, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (stent placement), ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction management
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 45 days.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Licensure required:
  • Active North Dakota medical license preferred for immediate need
