Adjunct Faculty - Engineering

Overview Adjunct Faculty - Engineering position at the University of Houston (Cullen College of Engineering). This is a non-tenure-track, part-time role in the First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group. Courses are at the undergraduate level, focusing on first-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomore engineering courses as well. The appointment is on a semester basis to teach one or more courses, depending on department needs. Salary is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate engineering courses, with emphasis on first-year courses and a limited number of sophomore courses. Serve as an adjunct faculty member in a non-tenure-track capacity for the duration of the appointment. Appointments are made on a semester basis based on department needs. Qualifications Ph.D. in Engineering with teaching experience at the university level. Required Attachments Curriculum Vitae Unofficial Transcripts Teaching Philosophy or Statement Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates.
