You don’t need years of dental experience to build a great career in dentistry.

At Monokian Dentistry, we’re looking for the right person — someone who is positive, dependable, motivated to learn, great with people, and takes pride in doing things well.

If you already have dental assisting experience, great. If you don’t, but you have the right personality and drive, we’re willing to train you.

In fact, some of the most talented dental assistants on our team came to us with no dental experience at all. They learned, grew, and developed their skills here — and today they are exceptional at what they do. We’re much more interested in finding the right person with the desire to learn than simply checking a box for years of experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to help create an organized, comfortable, and exceptional experience for every patient.

You’ll learn to:

• Assist our doctors with a wide variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep appointments running smoothly
• Anticipate what your doctor and patient need
• Take dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans
• Educate and communicate with patients about their care
• Use advanced dental technology
• Help maintain accurate patient records
• Work closely with the entire team to deliver an outstanding patient experience

Dental experience is helpful, but it isn’t required.

A current New Jersey dental X-ray license, Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential, or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential is preferred, but not required.
