Family Medicine Physician

We are actively seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to start as soon as credentialed. The position is for full-time coverage, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no late clinics, no call, and no after-hours charting. One physician is needed due to the departure of a full-time physician who is moving into private practice. The practice setting includes a clinic focused on full-spectrum family medicine, serving patients from babies to retirees. The position is 100% outpatient with an average of 8-14 patients per day. Required duties include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions. The physician will perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans. Promoting wellness and preventive care is a key responsibility. Coordinating specialty referrals when appropriate is also required. The physician will order and interpret diagnostic testing and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Supervision of nurse practitioners is a part of this role. Electronic medical records will be managed through the Elation system. The practice operates under a value-based care model, outside the typical fee-for-service structure. There is no involvement with insurance billing or RVUs. Credentialing is expected to take approximately 30-90 days.
