Director of Operations - Life Insurance

Job Description

General Placement Service is recruiting on behalf of a top rated, long standing national life insurance & annuities carrier. They seek to hire a Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of the life and annuity insurance operations. In this position the successful candidate will lead a team and provide strategic planning while ensuring compliance goals are met as well as enhancing customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will:

Oversee daily life and annuity business
Lead and mentor a team of insurance operations professionals
Ensure compliance
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Measure KPI's to optimize success

To be qualified, you must have:

5+ years of experience in operations management within the insurance industry
5+ years of insurance experience within life and annuity
Bachelor's degree
Relative insurance designations strongly preferred
