Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerDevelop, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent).Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone.Monitor and report on product quality trends, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.Conduct internal and supplier audits, support external audits, and follow up on non-conformances.Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality is built into new products and processes from the start (APQP, FMEA).Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming material quality.Support customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and ensuring timely resolution.Provide training and guidance on quality tools and methodologies across departments.Required:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience in a quality engineering or related role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment.Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, PPAP, etc.).Experience with ISO 9001 and related quality management systems.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality software/tools.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Preferred:Experience in the material handling industry or with industrial vehicle systems (e.g., lift trucks, attachments, automation).Six Sigma or Lean certification (Green Belt or higher).Knowledge of hydrogen fuel cell technologies and/or telematics systems.
