Now Hiring Experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators! Allegiance Staffing is hiring experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a leading manufacturing and distribution facility in Jeffersonville, IN. If you have experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with competitive pay and long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the warehouse and production facility
• Load and unload trucks
• Move raw materials, pallets, and finished products
• Stage materials for shipping and production
• Supply production lines with materials
• Perform inventory movements using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Complete daily forklift safety inspections
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assist warehouse and production teams as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Stable work history with excellent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
