About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and patient care standards
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust technical parameters to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Review images for quality and communicate findings to the radiologist or supervising physician as appropriate
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI screening procedures for patients and staff

• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required
• Current and valid state licensure or registration as required
• Hands-on experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of MRI safety standards and screening protocols

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care imaging environment
• Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and imaging protocols
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
