Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a School Psychologist serving K-12th grade learners. Two contract opportunities are available—one full-time and one covering maternity leave—with schedules offering 30+ hours per week. In this dynamic educational setting, you'll play a crucial role in helping students reach their full potential.
You’ll work closely with educators and families, using your expertise to identify and address learning or emotional challenges. Through comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and collaborative consultation, you'll develop and implement strategies that foster both academic and personal success.
Key requirements:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and consult with staff, students, and families
- Familiarity with diverse educational and behavioral needs
- Passion for supporting students’ emotional and academic growth
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to uncover learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and intervention for students requiring additional support
- Advise on special education eligibility, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Assist in crisis response and prevention efforts within the school community
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
