Site Maintenance ManagerThe site maintenance manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department and team to manage and maintain equipment and facility needs to meet or exceed production goals. The role develops and leads the maintenance discipline including mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and wastewater areas. The maintenance department consists of 2-3 salaried and 30-40 hourly employees within a poultry processing facility of 350 employees. The position reports to the plant manager with a primary work schedule of M-F, day shift, with flexibility to work weekends, early shift, and overtime as needed.Responsibilities for Maintenance Manager:Manage the leadership of multi-craft maintenance, refrigeration, and wastewater areasDrive the maintenance and reliability initiative with focus on preventive, predictive maintenance and management of maintenance work order systemInvest time on operations/shop floor to ensure all department workers adhere to safe work practices, policies, and procedures and commit to a high standard of cleaning, housekeeping, and organizing work and storage areasExercise solid knowledge and familiarity with facility's blueprints and schematics of utilities, machinery, and equipment to efficiently analyze and troubleshoot issues/concernsWork with purchasing, accounting, and vendors, to secure, track, and maintain parts inventory for facility assetsExecute performance management and skills development for direct reports and entire maintenance teamSecure and/or conduct training, one-on-one meetings, and knowledge share sessions for development of personnelOversee and coordinate work with outside vendor resources and provide project management guidanceEnsure compliance with state and federal regulations and promote a safe work environment for self and staffWork a flexible schedule; creatively schedule team resources for work load balance to meet business needsPerform other related duties as necessary or assigned
