EC Market Analysis is the business expertise center responsible for fundamental analysis and economic research across various energy markets. The team relies daily on multiple decision-support applications and data repositories (covering both market and fundamental data) to fulfill its mission of providing advice and support to the Trading desk.




The role will be based within the IT feature team dedicated to EC MA. The service provider will work as a software/data engineer on the various IT applications within the MA scope, as well as on the data platform made available to the business teams. The provider will be responsible for managing system enhancements and performing both corrective and evolutionary maintenance on these applications-prioritizing rapid delivery (time-to-market) while ensuring high-quality outputs.




Key activities for this assignment include:
Development and evolution of the data platform.
Data collection, ingestion, processing, transformation, and output/reporting.
Cost and performance optimization.
Design and development of decision-support tools.
Evolutionary maintenance, technical support, and user assistance.




The consultant must have prior experience in the activities described above, along with high-level analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong listening and communication abilities. Given the international environment, fluency in English is essential.
