Custodian II (Part- Time) Saturday- Sunday 8am - 6pm

Job Summary Perform routine and detailing housekeeping services requiring specialized tools and equipment. This position will interact on a consistent basis with other custodial staff to include Quality Control Inspectors & Supervisors, building/area occupants. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities Perform specialized cleaning operations, typically including spray buffing, burnishing floors, sanitizing trash receptacles, stain removing, window cleaning, etc. Strip and refinish floors. Perform routine housekeeping services as assigned, normally including emptying of trash receptacles; dusting; spot cleaning; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, medical and food service areas; restocking supplies; dusting; damp or wet mopping; sweeping and vacuuming. Operate and maintain power equipment which may include carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide-area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines and other powered equipment. Maintain housekeeping/storage closets, tools and equipment in a clean, orderly condition. Utilize prescribed safety equipment, as required. Utilize chemicals and supplies in a safe and prescribed manner. Respond to work requests from building occupants and the department's service request system. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma. Experience: Two years of job related experience. Preferred Qualifications Valid Georgia Driver's License. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This job requires skills in delivery of housekeeping services including operation of specialized cleaning equipment and use of cleaning supplies.
