- Full-time Chief of Staff Veterinarian with an expected mix of approximately 20-30 percent leadership and 70-80 percent clinical duties
- Partner with practice leadership to drive medical quality, client service, and operational efficiency
- Coach and mentor associate veterinarians and support staff; lead team meetings and foster a collaborative culture
- Manage doctor and team scheduling, workflow, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver high-quality clinical care across wellness, internal medicine, and urgent needs; develop thorough diagnostic and treatment plans
- Perform general surgery and dentistry; utilize in-house lab, digital radiography, dental imaging, and in-house pharmacy
- Communicate clearly with clients and ensure accurate, complete medical records
- Proactively address client concerns and support continuous improvement Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana (or ability to obtain before start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, commitment to preventive care, and interest in team leadership
