Clinical Lead / Director of Clinical Operations
Job Summary:
At HireCare Services - Rhode Island, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare operations through a collaborative and patient-centered approach. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead / Director of Clinical Operations to join our team at HireCare. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee clinical performance, support nursing leadership, and ensure the facility remains survey-ready at all times.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care
Support and mentor Unit Managers, nurses, and clinical staff
Monitor care plans, documentation, assessments, incidents, and changes in resident condition
Lead ongoing preparation for state and federal government surveys
Conduct mock surveys, audits, chart reviews, and compliance rounds
Develop and implement corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified
Ensure compliance with CMS, Department of Public Health, and facility standards
Assist with staff education, quality improvement, infection control, and risk management
Work closely with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
Current Massachusetts RN license required
Nursing home or long-term care leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and the survey process
Experience with audits, plans of correction, and clinical quality improvement
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
