About This Role

Our team seeks an experienced and compassionate teacher to educate preschool children in a nurturing environment, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will establish a structured learning space, adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs, and provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for children to explore and learn.

What You'll Do

Establish a positive and engaging classroom environment, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool children.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality instruction and provide support to students with special needs.
Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share student progress and involve them in their child's education.
Maintain accurate and complete student records and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

CDA Credential: Often required for entry-level positions, involving 120 hours of training and 480 hours of experience.
Associate Degree (AA): A degree in ECE or child development is commonly required, or a Bachelor’s Degree .
Coursework: Essential studies include child development, curriculum planning, and child health/safety.

At least 2 years of experience.
