Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, and ventilator management
• Assume airway management responsibilities and assist with intubation
• Conduct intrahospital transport of patients

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU
