About This Role
Kids & Fitness is looking for Early Childhood, Infant, and Support Teachers to join either our South Burlington or Essex location! Candidates are ideally outgoing, nurturing, willing to be active and fun-loving, and have a genuine love of children! Experience in a classroom setting is a must! Job requirements will include, but are not limited to, curriculum planning, collaborating with colleagues, and lots of communication with families.
Kids & Fitness is currently looking for infant and preschool classroom teachers!

We support a child-centered, exploration-based philosophy that responds to the changing interests of each child. Our educators modify curriculum and explore current developments in educational theory to ensure quality childcare. The Edge Kids & Fitness is recognized for its emphasis on teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and exciting opportunities for kids; including tennis, swimming, art, music, and more! We utilize the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS), Ages & Stages Screening Tools (ASQ-3 & SE), Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment Tool (TSG), and are a Seed & Sew Certified Preschool. Kids & Fitness is currently looking for infant and preschool classroom teachers!
RequirementsRequirements/Qualifications: Our team is looking for professionals who are creative, flexible, possess good communication skills, have a commitment to working with children and families, and have a passion for educating young minds through play. Education requirements are based on position being applied for.

Sign-on bonus for full-time teachers who commit to a full-year contract 2026/2027 school year: Up tp $1000.00
4 weeks planned paid vacation starting in the 2026/2027 school year with a signed full-year teacher contract.
