SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13 step 10 level. Responsibilities You will lead a multi-functional team responsible for Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and logistics management. You will communicate both in writing and speaking in order to clearly address issues and to convey appropriate course of action to resolve such issues. You will manage the team for the resolution of fleet sustainment issues, including the investigations of PMS Service Requests, Fleet Coordinated Shipboard Allowance Lists, and other Fleet discrepancies to ensure spares information is accurate. You will develop the teams funding requirements focused on ensuring new sustainment technologies needed to achieve higher operational readiness requirements and improves issues addressed by the fleet. You will be responsible for the development and oversight of Reliability Centered Maintenance, Maintenance Requirement Cards, PMS service Requests to ensure maintenance strategies are data-driven and aligned to mission readiness objectives. Establishes and maintain Readiness Reporting System for assigned products that demonstrates system reliability, maintainability, suitability, and supportability assessment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05-GS-11 or NT-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Translating complex sustainment requirements into clear, actionable tasks, ensuring that each of the logistics elements is well-defined, properly resourced, and effectively integrated; 2) Managing total life-cycle of programs, driving the on-cost and on-schedule execution of all logistics efforts; 3) Ensuring all deliverables meet the stringent operational requirements for reliability, availability, and maintainability; 4) Leading, developing, and empowering a logistics team to successfully orchestrate the entire support framework, guaranteeing on-performance delivery; and 5) Leveraging all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements as a leader who can guide and mentor a team.
