The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the second week. 7p-7am.Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:Six months previous CNA experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishBasic computer skillsPrevious customer service experience preferredHigh School diploma or GED requiredGraduate of a Nursing Assistant Program requiredState registered CNA license requiredCrisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holdsPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).Where You'll WorkPenrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest.
