Shift: Days – Monday–Friday
Duration: Approximately 26 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week – 8-hour shifts

Job Duties

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures according to departmental guidelines.
• Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing.
• Assess and maintain imaging quality by evaluating positioning, technical factors, and alignment.
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Accurately and completely document patient and exam information.
• Provide quality patient care and coordinate patient flow effectively.
• Assist physicians and sonographers in performing high-quality echocardiographic examinations.
• Cross-train and provide support in other areas of Cardiovascular Services.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound.
• Minimum 3 years of Echo Technologist experience .
• RDCS (ARDMS) OR RCIS (CCI) certification required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Strong echocardiographic sonography and cardiac diagnostic testing skills.
• Ability to assess imaging quality, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate patient flow.
• Positive attitude with a demonstrated willingness to improve the work environment.
• English proficiency required (speak, read, and write)
