RN Supervisor 78 Weekends (Saturday & Sunday (16 hrs)

Job Summary Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and staff nurses in accordance with state and federal standards. Supervision may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Essential Job Functions Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities. Role / Responsibility: Supervisor – Evenings Manage all admissions and discharges that occur on the evening shift. Huddle with the CNA team on each floor to discuss caseloads and special responsibilities. Oversee care of all residents and intervene or support staff as appropriate. Review all new admissions from Days to ensure the admission checklist is completed. Review completion of daily skilled documentation for all Med‑A residents assigned to the evening team. Administer medication dispense duties. Document incidents and accidents, including witness statements, initial reports, and updates to care plans with prevention interventions. Manage staffing for evening and night shifts; verify staff attendance and awareness of assignments. Report mandatory information and notify MD/NP with issues as appropriate. Address any disciplinary issues that arise during nights. Essential Qualifications Must be currently licensed in Florida as a Registered Nurse. Must possess must must be CPR certified. Must have at least one year of supervisory experience. Experience and Basic Knowledge One year of long‑term care desirable. Experience in Med‑Surg, Home Health, Emergency Room, or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults is helpful. Physical and Environmental Requirements Finger dexterity. Lifting up to 40 lbs. Standing, grasping, pushing, stooping, kneeling, reaching. Utilizing a computer.
