Stand Up Forklift Operator

Our cold storage warehouse in Richmond is looking for a forklift operator to join our team. This role is an important part of our warehouse operation, ensuring product is accurately pulled from storage. AM and PM Shifts available Hourly Rate: $21-$24 Must be willing to work overtime as needed. What you'll be doing: While working on our refrigerated warehouse, you will: Operate a stand-up reach forklift to pull and check large orders Use an RF scanner to scan pallets into the warehouse management system Receive inbound loads by pallets or cases Unload product from trailers, containers and trucks Stacking pallets Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience operating a stand-up reach forklift Experience in pulling and checking large orders Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Ability to understand lot #’s, FIFO, inventories, and warehouse safety Ability to drive an electric rider pallet jack is a plus Reliable, punctual and a team player with good communication skills Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. boxes and bags, along with standing and walking the entire shift Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Candidates hired into this role must successfully pass a basic warehouse assessment Successful candidates will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.
