Decision Scientist

-Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze large datasets
- Partner with stakeholders as a business analyst to understand data needs and translate them into insights
- Analyze data across categories and interpret results to explain trends and outcomes
- Tell a clear story with data, explaining what models are showing and what they are intended to deliver
- Aggregate and validate data outputs, ensuring accuracy despite large data volumes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on findings and next steps
- Apply strong attention to detail when working with complex, high-volume datasets

Compensation: $30-40/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. • Strong business knowledge in retail or mass promotions preferred.
• Ability to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities using multiple, complex datasets.
• Capability to connect data and modeling outputs to business needs.
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations with stated assumptions and confidence levels.
• Synthesize complex findings into concise, executive-ready insights.
• Influence decision-making through structured storytelling and evidence-based recommendations.
• Basic SQL skills to generate data outputs for deep dives.
