Retail Associate - Esoteric Gift Shop
Our Tarot brand is opening a brick-and-mortar shop in Frogtown, and we’re looking for the right person to support this physical extension of our established online business. Could that be you?
What we’re looking for: • Experience working in retail• Superb customer service skills
• Capable of working independently without on-site leadership
• Stays calm under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Honesty and authenticity
• Knowledge of Tarot preferred
• Shopify and POS experience
• Enjoys connecting with people
• Genuine interest in the esoteric What you’ll do: • Assist customers in finding what they’re looking for
• Maintain a clean and appealing space
• Keep a daily log
• Restock shelves
• Price inventory
• Keep track of promotions and new releases
• Open and close the shop
• Operate Shopify POS hardware
• Answer customer emails and/or online store chat messages
• Receive packages and answer the phone Since 2014, James R. Eads has designed and self-published divination tools under the name Prisma Visions. Our team works in the studio from Monday through Friday. This role requires working independently on weekends when the rest of the team is not in. Hours / Pay
Thursday-Sunday, 12-5 pm*
* Regular work hours and days may change during peak seasons
First Fridays have a later shift from 5-10 pm
15-30 hours a week
$19-22/hour
Starts in November Benefits
Your lunch and snacks are provided! We get groceries from Trader Joe’s every Monday to stock our kitchenette.
