Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical exams and in-depth reviews of medical history
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and implementing individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, providing wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• A Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices

Certifications

• Must possess a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
