Ultrasound Tech-Multi/Weekend Program-Part Time Days/Atrium Medical Center

Ultrasound Tech-Multi-Registered-Weekend ProgramIndependently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound directed interventional procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Ultrasound Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.Education Required: Graduation from an accredited Associate degree program in Allied Health/SonographyRegistry and Certification RequiredRVT (ARDMS-American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or RVS (Cardiac Credentialing Institute)One of the following (ARDMS/ARRT): Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, BreastAHA or American Red Cross BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hireORTwo of the following (ARDMS/ARRT): Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, BreastRVT (ARDMS-American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or RVS (Cardiac Credentialing Institute) within 6 months of hireAHA or American Red Cross BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A
