Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.77 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sunday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions, and assist with visitor and/or contractor check-in processes in accordance with site protocols. Support facility operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting during service interruptions and/or public interactions, and following post orders for security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
