What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

• Inspecting forklifts before use to ensure proper working condition
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using a forklift
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies to management
• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 3 months of forklift experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment
• Hold a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
• Can successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures
• Are able to work in sometimes dusty, hot, or cold conditions
• Have the physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50lbs (occasionally up to 65lbs with team lifting or equipment)
• Can perform job tasks that require bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching
• Possess strong attention to detail, work independently or as part of a team, and have good communication skills
