Every item you deliver helps support our mission of making Wisconsin's kids the healthiest in the nation.What You'll DoAs a Supply Chain Technician, you'll help keep hospital operations running smoothly by managing supplies, equipment, and inventory across multiple departments and outpatient clinics.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, unload, verify, and distribute medical supplies throughout the hospital and clinicsTransport supplies, equipment, medical records, lab specimens, blood products, oxygen tanks, and other essential materialsMaintain inventory levels by stocking bedside carts, supply rooms, cabinets, and clinical areasPerform cycle counts, rotate inventory, remove expired products, and ensure accurate stock levelsUtilize inventory systems such as Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, and WD MobileOrganize and maintain clean, compliant supply rooms according to healthcare standardsSupport product recalls, returns, and inventory discrepancy resolutionClean and inspect patient care equipment and report maintenance concernsPartner with clinical teams to optimize supply availability and improve workflowsAssist with onboarding and training of new team membersParticipate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and operational excellenceWhat You'll BringRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or HSEDStrong organizational and time-management skillsBasic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindset with strong attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience with Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS)Healthcare, warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain experienceExperience with Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, or similar inventory softwareWhy Join Children's Wisconsin?Make a meaningful impact on patient care every day.
