DescriptionPosition at MedMark Treatment CentersCompassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Supervisor!Position Overview:The Counselor Supervisor will supervise the Counselors who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’s policies and procedures. The counselor supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients. The Counselor Supervisor will report directly to the Treatment Center Director. Responsibilities:Assigns counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessaryConducts quality assurance file reviewsDirect and supervise all intake operationsEnsure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patientsEnsures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinicsMaintain counseling caseloadProvide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service training, guest speakers and reviewing literatureActs as Treatment Center Director when absentOther related duties as determined by supervisorQualifications:Must possess OH LCDCIII, LICDC, LICDC-CS, and LSW-S.
