Clinical Coordinator

Orthopedic Surgeon Position Orthopedic surgeon looking for a highly motivated individual. Responsibilities Interaction with administrative and clinical staff including front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure maximum utilization of resources and efficient delivery of services. Oversee the day‑to‑day clinic activities and schedule. Schedule patients for surgery and advise patients of pre‑surgical requirements, including laboratory orders and/or x‑rays, and review surgical documents with patients. Maintain the surgical schedule and serve as liaison between staff and the authorization department. Coordinate scheduling of patient tests and post‑operations. Document patient phone calls, prescription refill messages, and obtain physician signatures. Ensure patient phone calls are retrieved and returned in a timely manner. Supervise other clinical support members of the physician’s team, delegating responsibilities to assure efficient service delivery. Communicate with staff and physicians regularly to ensure quality of service and that physician and patient needs are met. Coordinate physician meetings accordingly. Education Certified Medical Assistant; preferred Licensed LVN or RN. Experience Minimum of three years clinical experience. Must have prior experience in an office setting and clinical knowledge. Abilities Strong leadership and effective communication skills; excellent planning, organization, and management skills; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate team cooperation. Job Type Full‑time – Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday mornings. Requires reliable transportation and travel between clinics based on physician schedule.
