Forklift Operator (Day and Night shifts)

As we expand, we remain committed to investing in our people, strengthening our capabilities, and delivering consistent results for our customers and supplier partners.We are seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to support warehouse operations and ensure efficient product movement across the facility.How You Will ContributeOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and rotate product within the warehouse.Ensure accurate product placement and rotation to support inventory standards and operational efficiency.Maintain required production levels and ensure tasks are completed according to company standards.Utilize warehouse systems, technology, and equipment to support day-to-day operations (training provided).Support product availability through accurate and timely handling of inbound and outbound inventory.Contribute to maintaining high service levels by ensuring efficient warehouse operations and product flow.Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment and performing daily tasks.Maintain personal safety equipment and ensure a safe work environment at all times.Assist in maintaining the overall condition and organization of the warehouse.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure operational alignment.Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within assigned tasks.What We're Looking ForForklift certification preferred (on-site training available).High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.Basic comfort with using warehouse technology and systems.Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.Physical & Schedule ExpectationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (including up to 165 lb barrels) with appropriate equipment and technique.Regular standing, sitting, and use of hands for equipment operation.Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions.Availability for assigned shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.Why Join New York Wines & SpiritsAt New York Wines & Spirits, we are building a performance-driven organization focused on execution, accountability, and long-term growth.
