Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

Role Description

SeatGeek has an ever-evolving product that's reshaping the way the ticketing industry works. You’ll join the team responsible for ensuring SeatGeek.com is fast, reliable, and delivering joy to all of our fans.

• Work with the SeatGeek design team and product managers to bring ideas to life to delight fans.
• Bring a passion for product to mentor and grow web engineers across the organization.
• Contribute to increasing the maturity of our front end tech strategy and stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, having led product initiatives end-to-end in recent years.
• Exceptional grasp of TypeScript/JavaScript and familiarity with modern frameworks and client-side rendering techniques.
• Feelings about how a web page should look and feel, with a focus on building inclusive and accessible experiences.
• Comfortable going deeper into the stack for architecture and performance optimization.
• Adaptability to work full stack in Python when needed and experience with design tools like Figma or Sketch.

• Languages: TypeScript, Python.
• Libraries / Frameworks: Next.js, React.
• Infrastructure / Tools: AWS, K8s, Fastly, Datadog, Mixpanel, Eppo.
