Spherion is looking for a motivated Instructor at a large aerospace facility in Everett and other locations! Our Instructor will work within the Training Department , playing a key part in delivering engaging training programs on aerospace-related topics. As an Instructor, you will deliver existing content centered on aerospace manufacturing systems. Your responsibilities include leading practical demonstrations to empower aerospace employees with essential skills and knowledge for their success. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply! We're looking for dedicated candidates who are flexible and open to working across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and willing to travel within the Everett to Puyallup area. Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the closest work location - $0.70 per mile. Weekly pay through Spherion Pay Base: $32/hour Overtime: $48/hour for extra shifts. The contract may be extended based on performance, and there's potential for transition into a direct hire position if openings become available. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practices Provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring students gain hands‑on experience with relevant tools and equipment Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education provided Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocols The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to teach a variety of aerospace courses. This role involves providing training in several key areas, including electrical installations, mechanical skills, sealant application, and environmental health and safety. Required Skills Only US Citizens are eligible for this level of a project High School Diploma or Equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Strong organizational and time‑management abilities Preferred Skills Ability to instruct technical courses in the Aerospace industry Manage basic technology to deliver training Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not required E‑Tester/Proctors We are also looking for E‑Tester/Proctors that can oversee standardized testing sessions and ensure a fair, secure, and compliant testing environment. Pay offered: $23/hr.
