About the Role

The Global Creative Director is an integral part of Latham’s Brand & Communications team.This role will be responsible for serving as the senior design director, brand visual system lead, and head of the team of designers, while overseeing the execution of creative projects and campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget, and creative brief specifications. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a hands-on designer, actively participating in the design process; as the senior design director, being responsible for high-quality creative assets that set the standard for the team
• Refining and implementing the creative strategy for the brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all visual outputs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, video production, business development, and internal communications to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to campaigns and projects
• Developing and implementing strategies that enhance the brand’s visual execution and market presence, ensuring consistency across all media and campaigns
• Ensuring the visual identity is clearly articulated, evolving design principles where appropriate, and ensuring designers are aligned on the brand visual system
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Possess extensive knowledge of design, visual ID systems, marketing, and communications, with a particular emphasis on digital and B2B marketing
• Demonstrate the ability to implement a creative vision in line with strategic priorities and business goals
• Display strong conceptual and hands-on design skills, with a broad knowledge of interactive/digital experiences including web, mobile, and multi-media

And have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, fine arts, or related field
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in a design or advertising agency and/or in-house role

Pay Range

USD $275,000.00 - USD $330,000.00 /Yr.
