Schedule Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in the Neuro Stepdown Unit. This position focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from neurological conditions in a progressive care environment. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown Unit. Monitor patient conditions and make critical care decisions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in neuro nursing. 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience is required; travel experience is acceptable. Active Ohio RN License or a Compact State License in hand at the time of submission. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. Must be able to work at least every other holiday.
