Role Overview As a Technician-Behavioral Health, you will provide direct behavioral health patient care, supporting individuals in their journey toward wellness. Your role is crucial in assisting patients with daily activities, delivering therapeutic interventions, and fostering a supportive environment. By establishing therapeutic relationships and closely monitoring patient progress, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing their quality of life. What You Will Do Assist patients with performing activities of daily living. Provide or assist with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions. Observe and record patient behavior and activities, reporting any changes in condition and suggesting modifications to the treatment plan. Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Preferred Qualifications Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred. Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Henry Ford Health
