Workday Integration Engineer

Salary: $113,988.12 - 171,114.24 per year Requirements:

• We need you to bring at least four years of progressively complex technical experience.
• We require hands-on expertise with Workday integrations, including EIBs, Studio, APIs, ICC, reports, and calculated fields.
• You should have experience integrating systems with third-party service providers.
• We need strong knowledge of Workday custom reporting and inbound and outbound EIB processes.
• You should be comfortable working with Oracle, SQL Server, or similar database platforms.
• We expect familiarity with SOA, APIs, XML, XSLT, and secure data exchange methods.
• You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in government or similarly complex organizations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with security best practices, cloud integrations, and data management is desired.
• Experience with Java, REST, SOAP, MVEL, Oxygen, or related technologies is a plus.
• We value experience working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds across all levels of an organization.

• We design and develop Workday integrations for HCM and payroll workflows.
• We configure advanced integration solutions using Workday tools such as EIBs, Studio, APIs, and the integration cloud platform.
• We partner with other integration engineers to share knowledge and maintain consistency.
• We monitor integration performance and resolve issues across internal and external systems.
• We perform root-cause analysis and strengthen error handling and system performance.
• We keep documentation clear, accurate, and current.
• We use tools such as Oxygen and Workday Studio to improve support and troubleshooting.
• We analyze business needs and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• We collaborate with downstream technical teams to review design decisions and impacts.
• We participate in end-to-end system testing.
• We recommend improvements to existing integrations.
• We communicate complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We escalate risks appropriately and coordinate with partner departments and vendors.
• We contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
