Desired Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for the Civil Service title of School Nurse.
• Active New York State RN license.
• Recent experience in long-term care or nursing home settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work with high school students in a clinical/lab environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise on-the-job clinical learning for Nurse Assisting students (8:1 student ratio).
• Develop and coordinate meaningful clinical experiences and schedules.
• Collaborate closely with classroom staff and participating agencies.
• Monitor, guide, and evaluate student progress throughout the program.
• Step in as PRN coverage for absent teachers and support CTE classes as needed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by lead Nurse Aide educators.
