REQUIREMENTS:

FL OT License required. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and /or equipment up to 50 pounds is required. Credentialed with Medicaid and other insurances a plus, but not required Current CPR is required (can be obtained/renewed after hired). Drug Free

DUTIES:

Excellent communication skills in order to effectively work with patients, caregivers, and providers of other disciplines. Willingness to provide support and advice to caregivers regarding the occupational therapy needs of patients. Good interpersonal skills in order to supervise and work with occupational therapy assistants and other team members. High levels of patience, kindness, and respect for others. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and the ability to adapt.
