Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR for a travel assignment in West Palm Beach, FL.

Details

• Work in a radiology department with 18 beds and a team of approximately 8 staff, including radiologists, CT techs, MRI techs, and ultrasound techs
• Patient population requires 1:1 or 1:2 ratios depending on patient stability
• Procedures include CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and X-rays
• All GE equipment in use, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
• EMR system is Meditech; experience strongly preferred
• Day shift staffed with a director, radiologist, and 6–7 techs; night shift staffed with 3–4 techs and an on-call team

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
• Active license required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the CT tech role
• Experience with GE equipment strongly preferred
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT credentials preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Responsibilities include producing diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues using CT, MRI, X-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment
• Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to multi-task across a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patient types
