Nuclear Medicine Technologist This is a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) position at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital. Shift and Schedule Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. 40 hours per week. Variable schedule with every 4th weekend included. Responsibilities Performs imaging and non-imaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers. Safely and correctly handles radioactive materials. Maintains and operates radiation detection equipment. Applies nuclear medicine procedures and performs appropriate computer analysis to generate patient results. Provides patient care, following Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care, using age- and culture-related attributes in assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation. Qualifications Associate’s degree from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program. Graduated from a JRCERT accredited radiography program. Certified as a certified nuclear medicine technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Six months of experience after hire in a nuclear medicine technologist role. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
