Quality Control Coordinator- 2nd Shift

Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for verifying incoming materials and finished products are properly manufactured by meeting the requirements of internal and customer specifications. In addition, QC Coordinator is expected to be technically knowledgeable regarding plant processes and procedures in order to provide oversight and technical support for operations. Verify incoming and finished product conformance to internal company standards and customer specifications per company procedures including: Verification of Food Safety and Quality processes (SOP's, SSOP's, GMPs) Hold implementation. Pest control support Process and Temperature monitoring Support regulatory, certification, and customer audits. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt position, and a minimum of 40 hours per week is required. This position occasionally requires overtime and occasional weekend work based on operational needs. Travel None. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Experience with documenting data and performing analytical calculations. Preferred Education and Experience Food plant operations experience. Educational experience in analytical, chemical, biological or food sciences Additional Eligibility Qualifications None.
