GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a high-impact General Manager to lead our Charleston market, a growing multi-site operation Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this leader will own overall market performance across operations, people leadership, client partnership, financial results, compliance, and business growth.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for someone who knows how to run a labor-intensive service business, lead through complexity, and build structure in a fast-moving environment. The Charleston market is well-positioned, growing, and supported by a strong portfolio that includes major data centers, industrial, manufacturing, and distribution-related business. Travel Requirements

• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• This is a highly visible market leadership role requiring regular travel across Charleston, SC to stay close to the business, lead the team, and support continued growth.

Your Responsibilities as General Manager

• As the General Manager, you will lead a geographically dispersed market and be accountable for end-to-end performance. This role requires strong operational discipline, visible leadership, financial ownership, and the ability to lead a multifunctional team across multiple offices.
• Lead and scale a high-profile Charleston, SC market with accountability for operational performance, client success, and business results.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the market, building alignment, driving execution, and strengthening performance across multiple locations.
• Build, develop, and inspire a strong leadership team across operations, client service, account management, and human capital support.
• Shape a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and operational excellence that positions the market for sustained growth.
• Own market financial performance, including labor strategy, overtime control, staffing efficiency, and disciplined decision-making that drives profitability.
• Serve as the senior market leader for key client relationships, ensuring service excellence, responsiveness, and long-term partnership.
• Partner cross-functionally to support business growth, expansion opportunities, talent strategy, and seamless operational execution.
• Ensure the market operates with strong compliance, sound process discipline, and a leadership standard that reflects GardaWorld's values and brand.

Your Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in contract security, military operations, or a comparable labor-intensive, service-oriented environment
• 4+ years of management experience
• Proven ability to lead teams in a labor-intensive, service-driven environment
• Experience owning results across operations, people leadership, client partnership, and financial performance
• Strong comfort level with ambiguity, pace, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to lead distributed teams and create accountability across a multi-site operation
• Strong business judgment and comfort with metrics, labor management, and profitability levers
• A valid driver's license and driving record that meets company vehicle and insurance standards
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
