About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - Med Surg Telemetry Experience - Meditech Experience Description: Must be located 50+ miles from the facility. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. The unit has 36 beds and a staff of 32. The day shift includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Techs, and 1 Secretary. The night shift comprises 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), and 3 Techs. Patient ratios on the unit are 6 to 1. The unit is equipped with EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry equipment. EMR system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on this unit include heart catheterizations. A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and helpfulness are the best personality fits for this role. Floating may occur to all Med Surg Tele floors. Scrub color is Ceil Blue. Staff are required to work every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month.
